That’s what happened. (OK, the trip was planned before the bailout and was a reward for top-earning salespeople; still, the timing looks bad for the company.)

Ever since this financial crisis hit, economic terms like “dead cat bounce” are as popular in search as celebrities.

Fisher Price Doll Mumbles Pro-Islam and Satanic Phrases

A child’s toy is being accused of uttering satanic and pro-Islamic phrases.The toy company Mattel has fielded calls from consumers who wonder whether their Little Mommy Cuddle ‘n Coo doll, which giggles, gurgles and coos, is also mumbling, “Satan is king” and “Islam is the light.”

Jobseekers duped into getting face tattoos

TWO Indonesian jobseekers have been tricked into getting their faces tattooed by a bogus official offering government jobs.

Village chief Sawiyono – who was helping the men find jobs in Jakarta – claimed he had received a text message from a government official offering them work as intelligence officers but saying they would have to be inked first with a dragon tattoo, Antara state news agency said.

Preacher’s wallet stolen during sermon

A Fort Worth preacher had his wallet stolen from a church office while he was delivering a sermon about showing mercy to others.

Fort Worth Presbyterian Church security cameras caught the images of a man and a woman going into the church’s office Sunday and stealing the Rev. Rob Hamby’s briefcase that contained his wallet and credit cards.

Before Hamby was finished preaching, more than $2,000 in purchases were made on his credit and debit cards, including a $676 diamond ring. The thieves also stole the minister’s computer valued at $2,600.
