Preacher’s wallet stolen during sermon

A Fort Worth preacher had his wallet stolen from a church office while he was delivering a sermon about showing mercy to others.

Fort Worth Presbyterian Church security cameras caught the images of a man and a woman going into the church’s office Sunday and stealing the Rev. Rob Hamby’s briefcase that contained his wallet and credit cards.

Before Hamby was finished preaching, more than $2,000 in purchases were made on his credit and debit cards, including a $676 diamond ring. The thieves also stole the minister’s computer valued at $2,600.

Kebabs made as corpse lay nearby

fast food shop owner was found preparing food while an employee’s corpse lay nearby.

Police called to the Pappu Sweet Centre in Wolverhampton in August discovered the man’s body on a sofa near the kitchen, magistrates in the city heard.

The business, owned by Jaswinder Singh, 45, was shut down immediately.
