Preacher’s wallet stolen during sermon

A Fort Worth preacher had his wallet stolen from a church office while he was delivering a sermon about showing mercy to others.

Fort Worth Presbyterian Church security cameras caught the images of a man and a woman going into the church’s office Sunday and stealing the Rev. Rob Hamby’s briefcase that contained his wallet and credit cards.

Before Hamby was finished preaching, more than $2,000 in purchases were made on his credit and debit cards, including a $676 diamond ring. The thieves also stole the minister’s computer valued at $2,600.
